I was wondering if anyone had a preferred method of programming a RPi board to work with the Rapiro. I know that the RPi board comes with Python (IDLE) on it, but I've heard that a lot of people suggest using Eclipse. Does anyone know of a preferred method of doing this and does anyone know of any coding examples for the RPi?

Note: I understand that typing something like:
echo "#M6" | sudo minicom -b 57600 -o -D /dev/ttyAMA0
makes the Rapiro move, but I'm looking for a more solid (save-able) method of coding these type commands/
