Pi3 And Rapiro, minicom issues?

Just got my rpi3 up and running, but running any minicom commands gets me this screen
Welcome to minicom 2.7

OPTIONS: I18n
Compiled on Jan 12 2014, 05:42:53.
Port /dev/ttyAMA0, 01:28:48

Press CTRL-A Z for help on special keys

Typing any commands doesnt work either.
Any ideas???

Confirmed solution. Works like a charm. May lower Bluetooth performance however.
