Recommend me a power supply

Hi,

So i successfully built my Rapiro (although i might need to re-zero the servos in the feet).

But they seem quite loud which looks like its caused by lack of power, I'm using Eneloop 1.2v 2,450 mAh batteries.

Can anyone recommend me a power adaptor? (UK compatible) Having trouble finding one that is 12v/4amps.

Recommended AC adaptor (6V-12V, 4A and over, Plug: Outer diameter 5.5mm, Inner diameter 2.1mm)

Hello,

I've got hold of a power supply that should work with my Rapiro. Can anyone tell me what polarity I should use (centre +ve?) Can't see it written anywhere, couldn't quite work it out from the photos and I forgot to look before I bolted him all together. Apologies for my laziness.

It's center-positive.

Hi, I've been trying to use this 12v4a adapter but the Pi freezes after 15 mins until reboot.

Does any of you have similar issue when using the Digikey KTPS36-0940DT 3P model?

I just bought a Digikey KTPS36-0940DT 3P. With it powering my Rapiro, the Pi does not freeze any more. Thumb up!
